Email is not arriving
Messages to your domain's addresses never show up. Check where your domain's mail goes, the mailbox and its storage.
What it means
Mail for [email protected] is delivered to the server named in the domain's MX records. If those records point
somewhere else, are missing, or the address has no mailbox or forwarder here, the message never reaches you. A full
mailbox or a suspended account also stops delivery.
Check this first
- Open Email → Email Accounts and check the address is listed. Look at Storage: Used / Allocated, and whether it is marked Suspended.
- Open Email → Email Domains and check the domain's Status. On Zeyo Host Mail it must say Receiving mail. On your hosting server it says On: the mail domain is set up, but the panel does not check where its MX records point, so do step 3 as well.
- Open Advanced → Track DNS, enter your domain, choose
MXin Record and click Look Up. - Send a test message from another provider (for example a personal webmail account), then check Email → Webmail. This rules out a problem in your mail app.
Fix it
The MX records point elsewhere, or are missing
- Email on your hosting server, DNS here: open the domain in the Zone Editor and check its MX records. Compare them with the incoming server shown on Email → Connect Devices.
- Email on Zeyo Host Mail: open Email → Email Domains, click DNS records on the domain and look at the State column. Fix every record that says Missing, Different value or Conflicting records. If the domain's DNS is in this panel, Add them to my DNS zone here does it for you, after you confirm with Change my DNS zone. It replaces the domain's MX, SPF and DMARC records, and any CNAME on the same names. Then click Check now.
- DNS hosted elsewhere: make the same change at your DNS provider. See Point your domain to Zeyo Host.
The domain's status is "Verified, records missing" or "Waiting for DNS"
The domain is on Zeyo Host Mail, but the DNS records are not all in place yet. Add the records listed under DNS records, wait for DNS to update, and click Check now. See Email Domains.
The mailbox is full
When Storage: Used / Allocated is at its limit, new mail cannot be stored. Click Manage on the mailbox and raise its allocated storage under Storage Space, or delete old mail in Webmail or your mail app. If your whole account is out of disk space, see My disk space or inodes are full.
The address has no mailbox
Create it in Email → Email Accounts, or add a forwarder in Email → Forwarders if mail for it should go to another address. Check the forwarder's Forward To address for typing mistakes.
Your hosting account is suspended
Mail stops while a hosting account is suspended for an unpaid invoice. See Failed payments and suspension.
Mail arrives in Webmail but not on your phone
The server has it; your app's settings are wrong. Compare them with Email → Connect Devices and see Set up email.
Mail lands in the recipient's spam folder
That is a different problem: see My email goes to spam.
